Men shopping with their Wifes

In all the years that I have worked in Women's Boutiques there is one thing I can tell you straight out...men that accompany their woman shopping really love them. I see women that just don't get it, and they are the big losers...what are they losing....well, clothes for one thing, but, most important ruining a day with the man they share their life with. I don't know how many men say " Honey, that is really nice on you. Buy it. The women will answer, oh, it's just not me or I don't really like it. I watch the men deflate like a balloon. They are there to please their wife or woman...they do not care what she buys, they just want in and out of the stores faster.... they just want to make their woman happy and spend some money on her.

It's what the SMART woman knows that makes a happy shopping day for her MAN. First, the less looking and dressing room time spend in one store, means you can shop in many stores. Second the man will be pleased that you took his opinion in front of others and it will build up his ego, plus, he's out of the store quicker. Third, after shopping several stores with multiple purchases, he knows you will treat him like a king. NOW, THE MOST IMPORTANT THING IS...YOU CAN GO BACK SHOPPING BY YOURSELF AND TAKE THE TIME TO RETRY  THE CLOTHES ,  FIND WHAT YOU WANT  AND RETURN OR EXCHANGE WHAT YOU  DO NOT WANT. HE MORE THAN LIKELY WILL NOT REMEMBER ANYTHING, BUT, MAYBE A COLOR.  There's always the excuse of the size or a flaw and you just had to change it.

 Another thing, if you should get into a real shopping frenzy and can't help yourself put out....then use the good old bar tip.  Sweetie could you please get  me  a soda from the pub down the street ?  I am so thirsty and you have at least time for one or more cold ones.  Do you mind ?  Well, you have pleased him and bought yourself some time, and maybe some clothes.  I have heard men be so sweet to their wifes and I know they all mean well by little comments on the clothes....so listen up.  Learn to pick your battles.  Do not ruin a day with your man for anything and certainly not for something you can return.
